PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)

For the past couple of years, we have not had an active PTO for various reasons. One of which is that parents have a lot going on and were unable to make the time commitment to meet. Therefore, as parents had concerns, questions or ideas, they would email administration directly.

We are trying to re-establish a working PTO for Matthew Henson. We have two parents who have been on board since the start of the school year with helping us move forward. One of the suggestions presented by parents was that we would get more participation if we moved our PTO meetings to a virtual setting. If you are interested in learning more, please plan to join us for a virtual PTO meeting on Thursday, November 30th. The ZOOM link will be provided when we return from Thanksgiving break.
